Big news! We’re pleased to share that we’ve secured more than $1.8 million in grant funding through the Federal Government’s Climate-Smart Agriculture Program; funding that will directly support rice growers to adapt, innovate and stay productive into the future.
This funding will help us work with growers to:
· Build skills in soil health, low-emissions and water-efficient farming;
· Support biodiversity and natural capital on farms; and
· Strengthen long-term productivity and resilience.
We were one of just 10 recipients in Round 2 of the Capacity Building Grants, a strong recognition of what our rice industry is already achieving and where we’re heading.
We’d like to acknowledge the support of Minister Julie Collins and the Australian Government, and we look forward to working with growers and our grant partners to deliver sustainable long-term outcomes for the Australian rice industry.
We’ll share more on the grant and the opportunities for growers in 2026!
