Honey Soy Chicken

STIR FRY BABYHONEY SOY CHICKEN

INGREDIENTS

500g Chicken breast, cut into 2cm strips 

1 Brown onion, sliced 

3 cups Birds Eye Frozen Veggie Mix, of your choice

OPTIONAL

1 tbsp Sesame seeds, toasted 

2 Spring onions, sliced

MARINADE

3 tbsp Soy sauce 

2 tbsp Honey 

1 clove Garlic, crushed

RICE

2x 250g SunRice Microwave Rice 

or 

1½ cups SunRice rice, uncooked

STEP 1 - PREP

  • Mix marinade ingredients in a bowl
  • Add the chicken strips and mix to coat &
    leave for 10-15 minutes
  • Cook the rice as per the instructions on
    the packet

STEP 2 - COOK

  • Cook the brown onion in wok on medium-high for 2 minutes
  • Add the chicken in 2 batches, reserving the marinade, until browned
  • Add the frozen vegetables for 4-5 minutes, until cooked through

STEP 3 - SERVE

  • Serve with cooked rice
  • Top  with sesame seeds & spring onion (if using)

PRO TIP - STORAGE

  • Store your left over rice in a sealable, microwave-friendly tub for another day.
