Ingredients

3 tbsp Butter 

4 cloves Garlic, crushed 

4 cups Chicken Stock or Broth 

2 Spring onions, sliced

Rice

2 cups SunRice rice, uncooked (If using Basmati, rinse rice 3-4 times to remove starch)

Step 1 - Prep

  • In medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat
  • Once melted, add garlic, stirring for 30-40 seconds

Prep 2 - Cook

  • Add the rinsed rice and stir to coat the rice for 1 minute
  • Add the stock and bring to a boil
  • Once boiling. Place the lid on and reduce the heat to low
  • Cook the rice for 10 minutes then turn the heat off and rest for 10 minutes

Step 3 - Serve

  • Remove the lid and stir the rice to fluff it up
  • Serve with any protein of your choice (try Grilled Chicken)

Pro Tip - Storage

  • Store your left over rice in a sealable, microwave-friendly tub for another day.
