Mexican Style Rice with Pulled Pork Tacos

Taco Tuesday has never been easier, simply pair our Mexican Style Rice, with all your favourite taco toppings.

Ingredients to serve:

This recipe was originally designed for null people. Amended serving sizes for 1, 2, 4, 6, and 8 people are intended to serve as general guidance only. Cooking times may need to be adjusted to suit your amended serving size.
  • pouch SunRice Mexican Style Rice (450g pouch)

  • g Slow Cooked Pulled Barbecue Pork (slow cooked pulled)

  • Tortillas

  • leaf Cos Lettuce (leaves washed and dried)

  • g Cherry Tomatoes (halved)

  • cup Tasty Cheese (grated)

  • Avocado (mashed)

  • g Mexican Salsa (jar)

  • ml Sour Cream

  • cup Drained Pickled Jalapeno (drained)

  • Coriander Leaves and Lime Wedges (to serve, optional)

  • Warm the pulled barbecue pork and tortillas following the packet directions.

  • Heat your SunRice Mexican Style Rice in the microwave for 2½ minutes or stir fry in a pan for 2½ minutes. Spoon into a bowl.

  • Place 1 lettuce leaf on each tortilla. Add a large spoonful of SunRice Mexican Style Rice and pulled pork. Top with tomatoes, cheese, avocado, salsa, sour cream, jalapenos and coriander. Serve with lime wedges.
