Broccolini & Beef Stir Fry

Try out this broccolini and beef stir fry for your next lunch or dinner idea! This dish is easy to make and combined perfectly with rice and quinoa.

Ingredients to serve:

This recipe was originally designed for 4 people. Amended serving sizes for 1, 2, 6, and 8 people are intended to serve as general guidance only. Cooking times may need to be adjusted to suit your amended serving size.
  • 2 cup SunRice Naturally Rice & Quinoa

  • 1 tbsp Vegetable Oil

  • 500 g Rump Steak (thinly sliced)

  • 1 Red Onion (sliced)

  • 1 Red Capsicum (seeded and sliced)

  • 1 bunch Broccolini (trimmed and sliced)

  • 200 g Snow Peas (trimmed and halved)

  • 2 clove Garlic (crushed)

  • 1 tbsp Ginger (finely grated)

  • ½ cup Oyster Sauce

  • 2 tbsp Honey


Calrose rice is a round, tender and succulent grain, allowing it to lock in moisture when it is cooked. This rice is often used in dishes that require a bit more creaminess, like paella or risotto. It is also ideal in your favourite Middle Eastern, Korean and Spanish dishes.

  • Cook the Rice and Quinoa as directed on the packet.

  • Heat half the oil in a wok or large frying pan. Add meat and stir fry over a high heat until browned. Remove from wok.

  • Add remaining oil to wok. Reduce heat to medium. Add onion and capsicum and stir-fry 2 minutes. Add broccolini, snow peas, garlic and ginger and stir-fry 2 minutes longer or until vegetables are just tender. Return meat to wok.

  • Add oyster sauce and honey and toss to combine. Serve with the Rice and Quinoa.
