Special Fried Rice with Honey Soy Chicken

Minimal effort and maximum taste, a family mid-week crowd pleaser on the table in under 20 minutes.

Ingredients to serve:

This recipe was originally designed for 4 people. Amended serving sizes for 1, 2, 6, and 8 people are intended to serve as general guidance only. Cooking times may need to be adjusted to suit your amended serving size.
  • 1 pouch SunRice Special Fried Rice (450g pouch)

  • 1 tbsp Sesame Seeds

  • 500 g Chicken Breast Fillets (cut into 2-3cm cubes)

  • 3 tbsp Honey Soy Stir Fry Sauce

  • 250 g Green Beans (topped (fresh or frozen))

Method

  • Heat a wok or large frying pan over high heat. Add the sesame seeds, stir fry, for 1 minute until golden. Remove to a bowl.

  • Spray the chicken lightly with oil. Add half the chicken to the hot wok or pan. Stir-fry, for 2 minutes or until browned. Transfer to a plate. Repeat with the remaining chicken. Return all the chicken to the wok or pan, add the stir fry sauce. Stir fry, for 1-2 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce hot. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.

  • Boil, steam or microwave the beans until bright green and just tender.

  • Heat your SunRice Special Fried Rice in the microwave for 2½ minutes or stir fry in a pan for 2½ minutes. Spoon into 4 serving bowls. Add the chicken and beans. Serve.
