Chicken Style Rice with Honey Soy Chicken Skewers

Ingredients to serve:

This recipe was originally designed for 4 people. Amended serving sizes for 1, 2, 6, and 8 people are intended to serve as general guidance only. Cooking times may need to be adjusted to suit your amended serving size.
  • 1 pouch SunRice Chicken Style Rice (450g pouch)

  • 12 Chicken Skewers (pre-marinaded)

  • 1 Olive Oil Cooking Spray

  • 2 Carrots (cut into thick matchsticks or frozen)

  • 150 g Green Beans (cut into 5cm lengths or 1 cup frozen)

  • Coriander Leaves (to serve, optional)

  • Heat a barbecue grill or non-stick frying pan on medium. Spray the skewers lightly with oil. Cook, turning occasionally, for 10 minutes or until cooked through. Remove to a plate.

  • Heat your SunRice Chicken Style Rice in the microwave for 2½ minutes or stir fry in a pan for 2½ minutes.

  • Microwave or steam the carrots and beans for 1-2 minutes until tender.

  • Spoon the SunRice Chicken Style Rice into bowls. Top with the vegetables, coriander leaves and chicken skewers. Serve.
