Chicken Style Rice with Tasty Chicken Rissoles

Ingredients to serve:

This recipe was originally designed for 4 people. Amended serving sizes for 1, 2, 6, and 8 people are intended to serve as general guidance only. Cooking times may need to be adjusted to suit your amended serving size.
  • 1 pouch SunRice Chicken Style Rice (450g pouch)

  • 1 Olive Oil Cooking Spray

  • 8 Readymade Chicken, Beef or Pork Rissoles

  • 8 Corn (fresh or frozen)

  • 200 g Green Beans (fresh)

  • Coriander Leaves and Tomato Relish (to serve, optional)

  • Spray both sides of the rissoles with olive oil. Heat a large non-stick frying pan or barbecue plate over medium heat until hot. Cook the rissoles, in batches if necessary, for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.

  • Heat your SunRice Chicken Style Rice in the microwave for 2½ minutes or stir fry in a pan for 2½ minutes. Spoon the SunRice Chicken Style Rice into a serving bowl.

  • Cook the corn in a saucepan of boiling salted water for 4-5 minutes. Add the beans for the last 1 minute. Drain.

  • Place the rissoles on a serving plate. Scatter over the coriander. Serve with SunRice Chicken Style Rice, corn, beans and relish.
