Chicken Style Rice with BBQ Chicken

Ingredients to serve:

This recipe was originally designed for 4 people. Amended serving sizes for 1, 2, 6, and 8 people are intended to serve as general guidance only. Cooking times may need to be adjusted to suit your amended serving size.
  • 1 pouch SunRice Chicken Style Rice (450g pouch)

  • 1 Barbecue Chicken (hot)

  • 2 Carrots (cut into thick matchsticks or frozen)

  • 2 cup Broccoli Florets (fresh or frozen)

  • Cut the wings and legs from the chicken, place on a plate. Remove the remaining chicken from the bones, discarding the bones. Roughly chop the chicken and add to the wings and legs. Cover to keep warm.

  • Heat your SunRice Chicken Style Rice in the microwave for 2½ minutes or stir fry in a pan for 2½ minutes.

  • Microwave or steam the carrots and broccoli for 1-2 minutes until tender.

  • Stir the chicken and vegetables through the rice. Serve.
