Special Fried Rice with Beef Stir Fry

Bring extra flavour to the table in minutes by pairing our Special Fried rice with your families most loved stir fry. It’s quick and tasty and full of protein.

Ingredients to serve:

This recipe was originally designed for 4 people. Amended serving sizes for 1, 2, 6, and 8 people are intended to serve as general guidance only. Cooking times may need to be adjusted to suit your amended serving size.
  • 1 pouch SunRice Special Fried Rice (450g)

  • 500 g Beef Stir Fry Strips

  • 2 Carrots (cut into thick matchsticks or frozen)

  • 2 cup Broccoli Florets (fresh or frozen)

  • 125 g Stringless Sugar Snap Peas

  • 1 tbsp Oyster Sauce

  • 1 tbsp Sweet Chilli Sauce

  • ½ cup Canned Sliced Water Chestnuts (drained, optional)

  • Heat a wok or large frying pan over high heat. Spray the beef strips lightly with oil. Add half the beef to the hot wok or pan. Stir-fry for 2 minutes or until browned. Transfer to a plate. Repeat with the remaining beef.

  • Spray the wok or pan with more olive oil spray. Add the vegetables. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes or until just tender. Return the beef, add the combined oyster sauce and sweet chilli. Stir-fry for 1-2 minutes or until heated through. Stir in the water chestnuts if using.

  • Heat your SunRice Special Fried Rice in the microwave for 2½ minutes or stir fry in a pan for 2½ minutes. Spoon into a serving bowl. Serve with beef and vegetable stir fry.
