Absorption
- Place 1 cup (200 g) of rice in a saucepan. Add 1 1/2 cups (375 ml) of cold water. Bring to boil. Stir occasionally.
- Reduce heat and simmer covered for 12-14 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stand, covered for 5-10 minutes. Serve.
Gentle Boil
Place 1 cup (200 g) of rice in a saucepan. Add 6-8 cups of cold water. Bring to boil. Stir occasionally.
Lower heat and boil gently, uncovered for 12-14 minutes.
Remove from heat. Drain well and serve.
Microwave
Use the same water to rice ratio as the absorption method. However, as there are great variances between microwaves, refer to your microwave manual for instructions.
Tip: For optimal consistency in results, we recommend the use of an electric rice cooker.
