Regions
Rice is grown on irrigated farms in the Murray and Murrumbidgee valleys of southern New South Wales.
A small amount is also grown in the Lachlan Valley and northern Victoria. Around 2000 farms in NSW produce rice and a very small number, less than 20, in Victoria.
