SunRice has implemented its own internal Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) audit program.
The GMP program improves the presentation and cleanliness of the mills, and the presentation of people through a managed program.
All SunRice domestic operations are also certified to a Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) Food Safety Program, and have been verified by Food Operations as complying with the Codex HACCP principles.
All SunRice domestic operations participate in third party audits against the American Institute of Baking (AIB) international consolidated food safety standards.
A large range of SunRice products are Kosher certified by Kosher Australia Pty Ltd. SunRice operations are certified by the National Association for Sustainable Agriculture, Australia (NASAA) to manufacture organic produce.
SunRice mills and packs Demeter rice products for the Bio-Dynamic Marketing Organisation. An extensive range of SunRice products are also Halal certified by the Halal Certification Authority Australia.
